Vehicle Theft suspect apprehended by Patrol & K9

On November 19, 2017 at 10:45 p.m. officers were on routine patrol and observed a red vehicle that was identified as stolen parked in an alley on the 1700 Block of 12 Avenue West. A male suspect was standing beside the driver's side of the vehicle was approached by officers for questioning. He was uncooperative with officers, pushed an officer when approached and then fled. The Prince Albert Police Service responded to 240 calls for service over the weekend and arrested 44 people. The top two calls for service were for disturbances and intoxicated persons.
