To obtain information in regards to obtaining an application package for the Prince Albert Police Service via Internet or by telephone the following procedure is used -

• A $50.00 application fee has to be submitted. This fee must be in the form of a certified cheque or money order made payable to the City of Prince Albert.



• Once the Police Service receives this application fee an application package will be forwarded to the applicant via mail.



• All applications are kept on file for one (1) year.

Application Package

When you receive the application package you will find enclosed:

1. Information pamphlet
2. Saskatchewan Police Act application form (employment equity form)
3. Police Officer Physical Abilities Test (POPAT) information Manual
4. Police Officer Physical Abilities Test medical information, medical clearance form and applicant test consent form.

Our recruiting process consists of the following:

1. Mental abilities test
2. Police Officer Physical Abilities Test (POPAT)
3. Initial Interview
4. Ethics and Integrity Testing
5. Polygraph testing
6. Secondary Interview
7. Medical Examination and Eye Examination
8. Conditional Offer of Employment

You will be notified of the commencement of the recruiting process. Nothing in the application package implies an offer of employment by the Prince Albert Police Service.
