  • September 1, 2014 - Back to School Safety
    Tomorrow is the first day of school for many of our children here in Prince Albert. The Police Service would kindly like to remind motorists to be aware as many of our children make their return to school by walking, riding bicycles and taking the bus Starting tomorrow all posted school speed zones will be in effect. The speed limit in a posted school zones is 30km/hr. The Prince Albert Traffic Section will be monitoring all school zones within City limits.

  • September 1, 2014 - Weekly Media Update
    The Prince Albert Police Service is reporting a steady weekend with 313 calls for service. There were 67 persons arrested with 47 people being arrested for intoxicated in public. The calls patrol members responded to the most were intoxicated persons (60) and disturbances (38). There were 4 people arrested on outstanding warrants, 7 people were arrested and are facing new charges.   • August 31st, 2014 - Weekend News Release
    The Prince Albert Police responded to approximately 236 calls for service from Friday 6:00 pm to Sunday at noon. A total of 57 persons were taken into police custody. 40 of those arrests were for being intoxicated in a public place.
