The Prince Albert Police responded to approximately 244 calls for service from Friday 6:00 pm to Sunday noon. A total of 63 arrests were made with. 35 of those arrests were for being intoxicated in a public place.
The majority of the calls were for intoxicated persons, disturbances, and family disputes.

At 1:46pm, September 24, 2014 Prince Albert Police Service patrol members responded to an armed robbery at a business in the 2800 block of 6th Avenue East.
The male entered the business armed with a canister of bear spray and demanded money. The employee of the business complied and an undisclosed amount of cash was taken. No one was injured. The suspect was last seen fleeing eastbound on foot.

The Prince Albert Police Service is reporting a busy weekend with 330 calls for service. There were 68 persons arrested with 38 people being arrested for intoxicated in public. The calls patrol members responded to the most were intoxicated persons (59) and disturbances (43). There were 6 people arrested on outstanding warrants, 17 people were arrested and are facing new charges. The Prince Albert Police responded to approximately 266 calls for service from Friday 6:00 pm to Sunday at noon. A total of 54 persons were taken into police custody. 30 of those arrests were for being intoxicated in a public place.
The majority of the calls were for intoxicated persons, disturbances and reports of loud parties

The Prince Albert Police Service has charged a male in regards to the Homicide investigation of Cory Brown reported on September 6th, 2014.
A 41 year old male is facing one count of Second Degree Murder

School Zone Enforcement
The Prince Albert Police Service would like to remind motorists that speed restrictions in school zones continue to be enforced.
During the school year, from September to the end of June, drivers must reduce their speed to 30 km/hr when going through school zones.
