High Risk Search Warrant

Prince Albert Police Service executed a high risk search warrant for firearms at a residence in the 100 Block of 25th Street East Tuesday afternoon. Armed robbery charges laid

An 18-year-old Prince Albert man has been charged with robbery and several other serious charges stemming for an incident in March 2017. On March 18, 2017, just after 6 a.m. patrol officers responded to a business on the 1400 Block of 6th Avenue East for a complaint of a robbery. Police spoke with a female victim who was working alone when an unknown male entered the business, grabbed the victim from behind, choking her, and assaulting her with a knife.

Prince Albert Police Service had a very busy weekend responding to 297 calls for service, resulting in 57 people being arrested. The top 3 calls for service were intoxicated persons (37), disturbances (27) and evictions (15). Two arrests were made for impaired driving over the weekend.
