The Prince Albert Police Service had a steady weekend dealing with intoxicated person complaints, disturbances & loud parties.  A total of 49 persons were arrested during the weekend.

Notable calls include:
Police responded to a complaint at 0609hrs Saturday of a person in the North Saskatchewan River.  Police assisted PAFD in rescuing a 24 year old female from the river who was transported to Victoria hospital by Parkland ambulance.  She was being treated at hospital & held for observation.  Injuries appeared to be minor in nature.2010-19487

Police believe the female had been walking on the train bridge & that alcohol was a factor in this incident.   Police would like to remind everyone that the train bridge is not for pedestrian use.  Pedestrians found on the train bridge could be subject to a fine under the Railway Act for trespassing.

On Sunday at approx. 0800hrs police responded to the intersection of 15th St. @ 15th Ave East for a report of an MVA (2010-19654.)  Upon arrival police discovered that the MV had been operated by a 13 year old male who is now facing charges of impaired driving, exceed .08 & charges under the traffic safety act.  The accused was released to appear in court at a later date.

Thank-you
