The Prince Albert Police Service responded to 204 calls for service over the weekend.
Calls of note:
The majority of complaints consisted of Police attending disturbances and loud parties.

On Saturday (July 10) at 12:41am; Police responded to an assault (with weapon) complaint and located a Motor vehicle accident in the 800 blk. of 12th Street west. A vehicle had struck a tree. The accident appeared minor and the collision speed would have been slow. Two males were at the vehicle upon police arrival.
Police are investigating the cause of the accident and have information that a third party may have been involved attempting to rob the two with a knife.
No arrests have been made regarding this version of events.
Upon a search of the vehicle; police located a bag of pills believed to be the street drug “ecstasy”. Drug paraphernalia was also located. Both persons in the vehicle are now facing drug related charges.
An 18 year old male is facing one drug trafficking charge, and bail violations. He was also in possession of a small amount of marijuana and is charged with possession of that as well.
A 17 year old male is facing one drug trafficking charge.
