Further to Staff Sergeant BORSOS’ release from Sunday, the PA Police Service responded to 285 calls for service from Friday at 7:00pm until Monday morning at 7:00am.
 
Friday night 80 calls, Saturday day shift 79 calls, Saturday night shift 60 calls, Sunday day shift 43 calls, and Sunday night shift 23 calls.
 
As a result, 62 arrests were made (33 of which were for public intoxication), and 17 people were taken to Court yesterday morning.

Early Saturday morning police responded to the South Industrial area for a complaint of damage to several businesses. 5 businesses were involved; a total of $4,000 to $5,000 in damage, primarily in smashed glass was done by this individual. He was located in the area of Carnival Bingo, bleeding and in possession of property from one of the businesses. Canine tracked him from the initial alarms to his point of arrest.
 
18-year old Cody John McADAM of the Muskoday First Nation has been charged with 5 counts of Willful Damage and 2 counts of Break and Enter. He was remanded in custody, and will appear again on September 1st at 10:00am

On Saturday afternoon at approximately 2:20pm Prince Albert Police charged a 16-year old male with aggravated assault and 2 counts of breach undertaking after responding to a complaint of a fight in progress in the 1200 block of 17th Street West. Baseball bats were the weapons of choice. Thankfully, injuries were not as serious as they could have been.

On Sunday morning at approximately 2:23 am police responded to a complaint of an assault with a weapon in the 400 block of 19th Street East. The female victim reported being attacked by an unknown male with an edged weapon, and suffered cuts to her head and arm. She was taken to the Victoria Hospital by Parkland Ambulance where she was treated and release. Police continue to investigate.

Also on Sunday morning at approximately 3:30am PA Police responded to the Diefenbaker Bridge in response to a 26-year old Prince Albert male standing outside the rail, and contemplating suicide.
 
Police negotiators were called to the scene, but the male was convinced to reconsider his decision and come down on his own by responding patrol members. He was taken to the Victoria Hospital for examination.
