Prince Albert Police responded to a complaint in the Unit Block of River Street West this morning regarding suspicious materials found after a private contractor dug a hole to support a sign on private property. Several materials were found (including glass, tin, asphalt shingle etc) at a shallow depth. Also found was a small piece of bone like material and what appears to be material or cloth. Preliminary investigation would appear to indicate the hole has been dug through an old trash pile.

As a precautionary measure the Forensic Identification Section of the Police Service has seized material for examination.
