Prince Albert Police responded to 305 calls for service from Friday October 23rd 2009 at 7:00p.m. to Monday October 26th
2009 at 7:00a.m.
Police arrested 56 people during this time. Of those 24 were arrested for being intoxicated in a public place. Of the 24, 4 were taken to the Detox Center.
Since October 19th 2009 Prince Albert Police have escorted 11 intoxicated people to the Detox Center.
During the night of Sunday October 25th 2 people were arrested for Impaired driving.
At approximately 9:30pm police attempted to stop a motor vehicle along 15th Street East in the 800-900 blks. Once stopped police arrested a 47 year old female. She has been charged with Impaired Driving and Exceed .08. She will appear in Provincial Court on November 16th 2009.
At approximately 11:30p.m. police stopped a motor vehicle and arrested 51 year old Norman E. Johnson dob March 20th 1958. Johnson was arrested and charged with Impaired Driving, Exceed .08, Breach of Undertaking. Johnson also had outstanding warrants for Failing to Stop For Police, Fail To Appear and Breach of Probation. Johnson has been remanded in custody and will appear in court on October 30th at 10:00a.m.
09-33757 On October 22nd 2009 at approximately 6:00pm Prince Albert Police responded to a sexual assault in a private residence in the East Hill area. The victim and accused had become acquainted with each other earlier in the day. Police arrested a 38 year old man who has been charged with Sexual Assault. No other details will be released at this time.
09-33995 On October 24th 2009 at approximately 7:30p.m. Prince Albert Police responded to a sexual assault in an open area in the vicinity of 1600blk of Muir Drive. Due to the age of the victim and the accused no other details will be released at this time.
09-34088 On October 25th 2009 at approximately 7:30a.m. Prince Albert Police responded to a sexual assault at a private residence in the West Flat area of the city.
The accused is known to the victim. Police have arrested an 18 year old male who has been charged with Sexual Assault and Breach of Probation.
Prince Albert Police are asking parents and children to take extra precautions on Halloween this Saturday. The Weather looks like it will be cool with some moisture for Prince Albert.
Drivers must be aware of children being out and about. Parents have your children cross the street at corners and not in the middle of the street.
Parents are asked to make sure children’s vision is not obscured should the children be wearing masks.
Parents ensure your children if going out by themselves they are with other friends and that the children stay with there friends.
