- using 10-4 push to talk technology
- Hands Free devices for “new drivers” – a new driver is anyone in Saskatchewan’s Graduated Driver’s licensing program
With the Cell Phone law coming into effect Police will be providing a period of education to drivers. This does not mean that drivers will not be charged should the police decide to charge under this law or other laws that maybe applicable while drivers are distracted when using a cell phone while driving.
Prince Albert Police are asking residents and businesses to check their backup power supplies for their alarm systems. Police have received some inquiries from citizens as their alarms did not seem to be working properly. Residents or Business owners should first check with their alarm company to ensure that the alarm system is working properly.
Without a proper backup power supply, should the main power supply be lost, the alarm system would be useless.
