Scams:
We are warning citizens of what is referred to the as the Grandparents scam.
The scammer makes like they are a grand child of the person they are calling. After creating some dialogue the scammer learns the names of the person they are calling and have a way of the grandparent revealing the name of the child that is suppose to be calling. The scammer then tells the grandparent they are in trouble with the law or they owe someone money and they need money transferred to them. The scammer also insists that the grandparent not contact any other relatives as they are embarrassed of being in a situation in which they need money.
This scam has cost people a lot of money. The money is not recovered and the scammers are seldom caught.

Cell Phone Law.

Drivers and Weather:
Drivers are being asked to take time to allow for road conditions. With the change in temperature frost will start to come out of the pavement. The city streets and highways in and around Prince Albert will become slippery. Please drive with caution.
