1) PAPS File # 2010-2275 Missing Person – Roger BYER 1953-01-02
Mr. BEYER was last seen in Melfort, Saskatchewan on Wednesday January 20th/2010, and was reported as missing to the PA Police Service on Tuesday, January 26th/2010 by family members. Despite media releases and police involvement, Mr. BYER has not been located. This is now a joint investigation between the Prince Albert Police Service and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.

3) R-U- Tuff Enough Event, Saturday, January 30th/2010
- security staff as well as police members were at the venue
- 26 persons were evicted from the Art Hauser Center
- Police broke up 12 fights
- 2 arrests were made (public intoxication)
4) Specific Calls:
10-2807- PAPS patrol members responding to a stabbing in the 700block of 7th Street East at approximately 8:10 am on Sunday morning, January 31st. A 25 year-old male was transported to Victoria Hospital by Parkland Ambulance paramedics suffering from what appeared to be stab-type wounds to his throat area, and was later transferred to University Hospital in Saskatoon where he remains in stable condition. Police arrested 25 year-old old Louis BONNEAU of Prince Albert at the scene. He was charged with Aggravated Assault, and made his first court appearance Monday, February 1st. He was remanded in custody to appear back in court on Tuesday February 2nd/2010.
10-2772- On Sunday January 31st/2010 at approximately 1:45 am members of the Patrol section of the PAPS responded to another stabbing call, this time at an apartment in the 300 block of 21st St West. It appeared to officers that one man stabbed another as a result of a drunken argument over beer, and fled. The injured male was transported by Parkland Ambulance staff to the Victoria Hospital, where he was treated for his injuries.
Patrol officers continued the investigation, and as a result arrested and charged 23 year-old Lionel SEWAP from Pelican Narrows later that afternoon. He was tracked down to an apartment on 2nd Avenue West. Mr. SEWAP appeared in court Monday February 1st, charged with Assault with a Weapon and Breach of Probation. He has been released from custody on an Undertaking, and will appear back in Court March 8th at 1:30pm in Courtroom #1

Due to recent snowfall, streets and roads (especially intersections) are very slippery. Please use extra caution, allow additional stopping distance, and slow down when traveling.
