Prince Albert Police Service responded to 992 calls of service from Monday June 15th at 7:00am until Monday June 22nd 2009 at 7:00am.

Over the weekend Police responded to 362 calls for service from Friday June 19th  7:00pm until Monday June 22nd at 7:00am.

Police arrested 71 people over the weekend. Of those arrested 39 people were arrested for being intoxicated in a public place.

The Patrol Section along with Traffic- Foot Patrol and Criminal Investigation members conducted a “blitz” on Friday June 22nd 2009.

During the course of the night members arrested 20 person(s) for Intox in a Public Place.
 
Arrested 9 person(s) for Breach of Probation orders and 3 young offenders on the following charges:

Theft of Motor Vehicle exceeding $5000
Break and Enter X 3
Theft Under $5000 X 2
Trespass at Night
Mischief Under $5000
 
1 had the following charges:
Theft of Motor Vehicle exceeding $5000

Theft of Motor Vehicle exceeding $5000
Break and Enter X 2
Mischief Under $5000
 
Olivia Grace Charles 1979-07-17 Drive while Disqualified x 2; Control Drug and Substance Act x 2; Operate an Unregistered Motor Vehicle.
 
Marla R. Daniels 1983-09-23 Breach of Undertaking x 3; Fail to Appear; Mischief Under $5000; Control Drug and Substance Act X 2.

On July 1st Bill No 43 will become law in Saskatchewan. It is an ACT respecting Trespass to Property.
 
What this act means is that people without permission of the property owner or being on the property outside the normal hours of being allowed on the property. People can be arrested by Police. The act will encompass Open spaces and Parks in the Province of Saskatchewan and in the City of Prince Albert. The maximum fine is $2000.00 on summary conviction.
