Prince Albert Police Service responded to 338 calls of service from Friday July 3rd at 7:00pm to Monday July 6th at 7:00am.
Police arrested 42 people of those 23 were arrested for being intoxicated in a public place.

July 4th at approx. 2:30pm Prince Albert Police responded to an incident in the 400 blk of 19th Street East. A husband and wife attended to purchase some used furniture. When they were at the window of the residence a male person later identified as Denis Joseph Nadeau dob:1957-02-02 pointed a shotgun at the husband. The wife and husband left the area without incident and called police. Police attended to the residence and without incident arrested Nadeau for Pointing a Firearm Sec 87 (1) cc. Several other firearms were seized from the residence.
    
July 6th at approx. 3:30pm a lady was leaving the Cornerstone shopping area and while she was walking to her vehicle 2 young boys approx. aged 11 and 12 and another approx. 20 years old on bikes were riding their bikes towards the lady. One of the young boys grabbed the ladies purse and rode off. The young boy said Thank-you. The boy is described as native, wearing a navy t-shirt and dark shorts and dark shoes with white on the shoes. The other male was larger and was noted to have a white t-shirt on.

The boys rode off going north into the exhibition grounds and were not located.

Prince Albert Police advise the citizens of Prince Albert that APX alarms is a recognized alarm company and have commenced to register their clients with the Prince Albert Police Service.
Pinnacle alarms are a registered alarm company but have yet to register any clients with the Prince Albert Police Service.

Prince Albert Police Service River Runners participants are in training for the upcoming trips along the North Saskatchewan River.

Today and Wednesday we have 11 participants and 3 supervisors taking CPR and First Aid courses put on by St John’s Ambulance.

The first trip will start at Fort Carleton on July 22nd and be completed on July 24th at 4:00pm at the boat launch at 3rd Ave East and River Street.

The second trip will start on July 28th at Fort Carleton and end on July 30th at the boat launch at 3rd Ave East and River Street.
