On October 6th, 2009 Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit (CFSEU), along with personnel from the Prince Albert Police Service and Prince Albert RCMP, executed a search warrant at a residence on Muskoday First Nation. Police seized 24 grams of cocaine, a rifle and an estimated $15,500 in cash.
Alvin Leslie Bear, 49 years old, of Muskoday First Nation is charged with possession of a firearm, possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine and possession of proceeds of crime over $5000.00. His next scheduled court appearance is Wednesday October 14th at 10:00 AM.
A 46 year old female, of Muskoday First Nation is also charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine and possession of proceeds of crime over $5000.00. Her first scheduled court appearance is set for November 4th at 1:30 PM.
Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit (CFSEU) Saskatchewan consists of three (3) teams, located in Prince Albert, Saskatoon and Regina. The Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit is comprised of personnel from partner police services from Prince Albert, Saskatoon, Regina and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police who receive funding for resources and operations from the Government of Saskatchewan through the Ministry of Corrections, Public Safety and Policing. CFSEU’s primary mandate is to expose, investigate, prosecute, dismantle and disrupt organized crime enterprises. Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit provides their police partners with experienced organized crime investigators and support staff which operate in a true team concept.
