On Saturday August 3rd, 2019, at 3:37 p.m. members of the Prince Albert Police Service attended to the 600 block of 13th Street West for a report of a male who had been assaulted. An 87-year-old male was the victim of an aggravated assault and had life threatening injuries. The male received medical attention for his injuries and remains in hospital. Prince Albert Police responded to 316 calls for service over the weekend and made 52 arrests. The majority of calls involved intoxicated people and disturbances.
