File 2019-24858 – Attempt Theft

Members with the Prince Albert Police Service quickly apprehended a man suspected of breaking into mailboxes at an apartment building in the 800 Block of First Avenue East early Thursday morning. Police were called to the area just after 1 a.m. Thursday after someone reported seeing suspicious activity in the building. Police arrested a 23-year-old man and charged him with mischief, possession of break in tools and breach of court orders.

The Prince Albert Police Service would like to remind the public about the importance of reporting suspicious activity when they see it by calling 306-953-4222. Residents can also report property crime using the Prince Albert Police Service’s online reporting tool or anonymously through the Crime Stoppers program. Those who submit information that leads to an arrest may be eligible for a cash reward through Crime Stoppers.

File 2019-24734 – Theft of ATV

Police are investigating the theft of an ATV from a business along 38th Street East earlier this week. Surveillance pictures show the 2017 Polaris RZR Side X Side was stolen sometime overnight Monday.
