Two men are facing drug-related charges following an investigation by members of the Integrated Street Enforcement Team (ISET).
Police have charged a 59-year-old man and a 60-year-old man with possession of a controlled substance for the purposes of trafficking and possession of the proceeds of crime after executing a search warrant at a home in the 500 Block of 12th St. E. Friday evening. Upon further investigation, police located more than 1,800 Hydromorphone and Dilaudid pills and capsules in various amounts totalling more than 12,000 mg.
The total value of the drugs seized is approximately $40,000.
The ISET team also seized approximately $8,000 in cash.
The two men are charged jointly on one information . One man is scheduled to appear in court Oct. 7 while the second will appear Oct. 9.
ISET is made up of members of the Prince Albert Police Service and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
