On October 19, 2017 at 2:52 a.m. patrol located a car filling up gas at a gas station on 2600 2nd Avenue West that matched the description of a vehicle police were searching for. Patrol vehicles pulled up behind the suspected vehicle which quickly finished filling up gas and then sped away. The vehicle turned into the wrong lane traveling northbound on 2nd Avenue West into incoming traffic.
Officers turned on emergency lights and sirens and followed the vehicle. The vehicle was followed at a distance. After taking several turns it was again located traveling northbound through 15 Street on 4th Avenue. The vehicle attempted to turn on to 13 Street West when it lost control and hit a house on 300 Block 13 Street West. Three males and one female fled the vehicle.

A police containment of the area was set up and a track with Constable Chow and Police Service Dog Febee was initiated. A male was arrested at the scene and two other males were captured by officers within a block of the scene. All three were arrested without incident. The female was not located.

The vehicle was confirmed by police as a stolen vehicle and was towed.

A 26-year-old male from Sturgeon Lake First Nation is charged with possession of property (not exceeding $5,000), obstructing an officer by providing a false name, being at large of his undertaking, operating a motor vehicle while pursued by a peace officer attempting to evade and failing to stop, operating a motor vehicle in a manner dangerous to the public, and failure to remain at the scene of an accident.

A 25-year-old male from Prince Albert is charged with possession of property not exceeding $5,000.

A 35-year-old male from Shell River Road in Prince Albert is charged with possession of property a motor vehicle not exceeding $5,000, without lawful excuse carrying or transporting ammunition for a 12 gauge shotgun in a careless manner and being at large of a recognizance.

The three suspects will make their first appearance in Prince Albert Provincial Court today (Information #s: 991029083, 991029082, 991029084).
